Impact & Philanthropy

Investing in the people
and places that matter.

The Boston Made Foundation's philanthropic programs are designed to invest directly in underrepresented businesses, community leaders, and the neighborhoods they serve. These programs are currently in development.

Transparency note: The programs described on this page are in active development. We do not yet have funded grants, active scholarship recipients, or completed programs to report. We are building this infrastructure openly and will update this page as programs launch. We do not claim 501(c)(3) status at this time.

Programs in development

Community Business Fund

In development

Direct grants to community-connected small businesses facing barriers to growth. Focus on businesses owned by underrepresented founders.

Scholarship Program

In development

Educational scholarships for young people from communities served by Boston Made member businesses.

Mentorship Network

In development

Connecting established business owners with emerging entrepreneurs through structured mentorship and peer learning.

Amplification Initiative

In development

Marketing and visibility support for directory-listed businesses that lack resources for promotion.

How to support the Foundation

The most impactful thing you can do right now is participate: join the community, add your business to the directory, and invite others to do the same. A strong directory and active community is the foundation everything else is built on.

Financial support through membership or donation helps fund platform operations and future philanthropic programs. We are transparent that we are not yet a 501(c)(3) — donations are not tax-deductible at this time.

Stay informed

As programs launch and milestones are reached, we will report them here and in the community feed. We believe in showing our work — not just announcing intentions.
